Chelsea’s choice for donation recipient is THE ZEBRA CENTRE

Opened in 2002, The Zebra Centre supports children and youth that have experienced abuse and aim to support them throughout every part of the investigative, judicial, and healing process. They are dedicated to being a safe space for youth victims that arrive at the Centre by providing services and facilities that are conducive to the initial investigative process conducted by police and family services. In fact, nearly 2000 initial forensic interviews for kids that had suffered forms of abuse were conducted at the Zebra Centre in 2022 alone. Instead of going to a police station, victims had a much better option now available to them. With over 100 child advocate volunteers, victims coming to the center don’t feel as lonely and scared as they would have before Zebra Centre’s warm and disarming facility existed.
