Hello Everybody!
The 17th Featured Edmontonian is now upon us and that individual is none other than Fort Saskatchewan’s Mix 107.9 morning show host Justin Pautonnier! JP grew up in nearby Morinville and always knew from a young age that he wanted a career in broadcasting. Luckily the high school there had a radio and tv studio as part of the program of studies which allowed him the chance to first start sending his voice across the airwaves. He credits this program for setting him up for a decade of rockin’ throughout Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan leading to what has now culminated into his current position here in Fort Sask! I think radio DJ’s don’t get enough credit for the challenges that exist in radio. It’s one of those jobs that I’ve heard many people say they think would be soooo easy but it’s more like anything where the professionals just make it seem that way. I’m always blown away by how simple they make talking without any stumbling or awkward pauses seem.
JP has chosen Families First Society, which is right based here in the Fort as the recipient of all money collected by The Streets Initiative for the months of September and October 2023. Lets show our support and collect as much $$$’s as possible, Edmonton!
